Good, Better, Best: A New Way to Feel Done
Perfection is a moving target. Chase it, and you’ll never feel finished.
Instead, try setting three levels of “done”:
Good: The essentials. The blog post is written. The email is sent. The project is complete.
Better: The refinements. The blog post has better structure. The email is polished. The project has extra improvements.
Best: The ideal. The blog post has custom graphics. The email is perfectly optimized. The project is flawless.
Some days, you’ll hit “Best.” Other days, just “Good.” But either way, you’ve made progress—and that’s what matters.
Done is better than perfect.
