Who is Sly?

Hi! I'm Sly Stark (they/them).

I’m a non-binary, AuDHD virtual assistant who works with many different types of business owners - neurodivergent, queer, creative, ambitious, curious, and just plain quirky folks - to help them create and operate a business that works effectively with their neurodivergent brains.

Before becoming a neurodivergent virtual assistant…

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Management, graduating summa cum laude. I spent the next 2 years in a full-time job diving into grants, contracts, and research reports.

Then, in June 2021, driven by the desire to "be my own boss" and lay-off-proof my life, I joined the Great Resignation. Turns out, sitting in an office without windows for 8 hours each day just wasn't the path for me.

All this has led me to be in the business of helping you do business! I really do enjoy supporting others doing impactful work, and I'm excited to utilize my skill set to make the world (or at least a small portion of it) a better place.

When I'm not being Business Sly…

You can typically find me gardening and drinking coffee that can barely be called coffee.

I also enjoy bee and bird-watching, doting on my cats, playing bass, and reading, particularly books. Last year, I hyperfocused on business books - This year, I'm reading everything mystical and magical.

People who know me describe me as caring, kind, intelligent, resourceful, curious, and sometimes a little stubborn.
